John's first FIFA experience was on a friend’s Playstation One with FIFA 2002. A soccer player since his youth, FIFA was always the number one game he played growing up. In 2017, with the addition of FUT Champions, he was able to get multiple Top 100 finishes and subsequently qualified for all three North American Regional tournaments. He placed in the top 6 at both the Miami and Vancouver Regionals and followed that up with a top 8 finish at the FIFA Interactive World Cup (FIWC) in Los Angeles. In 2018 he signed with the New England Revolution and participated in the inaugural eMLS Cup in Boston.
