Saturday's quarterfinal field is set for eMLS League Series Two (7 pm ET /Twitch.tv/MLS), headlined by a first-place finish from Atlanta United's Paulo Neto in the group phase standings and a tasty matchup between representatives of the El Trafico rivals LAFC and the LA Galaxy.
With a 7W-3D-2L record, the Galaxy's GODFATHER took third in the group phase standings, setting up a clash with sixth-seeded RemiMartinn of LAFC, who earned a 7-1-4 mark over his 12 group games.
Elsewhere in the bracket, Paulo Neto built on his strong maiden showing in eMLS Series One by finishing atop the group standings with a 9-2-1 record and an impressive plus-24 goal differential over the first phase.
The winner of eMLS Series One, FC Cincinnati's FIDDLE, required a goal-differential tiebreak to take the seventh seed after he, Toronto FC's PhilB94 (eighth) and Sporting Kansas City's ALEKZANDUR (ninth) finished even on 22 points. PhilB94 also earned a quarterfinal birth since host player RCTID Thiago of the Portland Timbers finished in the top eight.
