What a signing Alejandro Pozuelo is turning into for Toronto FC.
Four weeks after making one of the most memorable debuts in MLS history, Pozuelo was owning the stage at BMO Field once again on MLS Friday Night on TSN. The Spaniard scored another two goals as Toronto beat Minnesota 4-3 thanks to a late brace from Pozuelo's teammate Jordan Hamilton.
Toronto FC were stunned by Darwin Quintero's goal against the run of play, but the Spaniard's two goals in two minutes helped to overturn TFC's early deficit.
First, Pozuelo ran a one-man counterattack in the 28th minute, completing the play with a rocket unleashed from distance.
Then, he added a second goal in the 30th minute, slamming home a low cross in the box to give Toronto the momentary 2-1 lead.
The 27-year-old has four goals and five assists in his first four MLS matches, as the stellar start to his MLS career continues.
