Antoine Griezmann points out Carlos Vela snub on his all-time best XI of teammates

On his 29th birthday, it was Antoine Griezmann handing out the presents.

Bleacher Report posted the Barcelona and French national team midfielder’s all-time greatest teammates XI.

It was, as you’d expect, a who’s who of some of the best players on the planet — Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba, N’Golo Kante, Sergio Busquets and Kylian Mbappe among those selected.

But there was one omission Griezmann himself was quick to point out.

Griezmann and LAFC superstar Carlos Vela played together at Real Sociedad in 2011 and remained teammates for three years. Griezmann left for Atletico Madrid before his move to Barcelona.

Vela left Sociadad in 2017, scoring a goal in his final match, before signing with LAFC as the club’s first Designated Player.
