Executive Vice President, Apple Partnership, Properties, & Events
Camilo Durana is the Executive Vice President - Apple Partnership, Properties & Events at Major League Soccer (MLS) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM), where he oversees the organization’s partnership with Apple, Brand & Marketing functions, and its Properties and Events business, which includes the management of commercial, match promotion and event partnerships with the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol, Concacaf and Liga MX. His group also leads the delivery of MLS and SUM events, including Leagues Cup, MLS All-Star, MLS Cup, Mexican National Team U.S. Tour and eMLS.
Prior to joining MLS/SUM, he served as the Global Director of Budweiser Sports and Entertainment at AB InBev, leading the development the Budweiser brand’s global sports and entertainment campaigns. Programming included the 2014 FIFA World Cup, branded entertainment initiatives and the launch of Budweiser’s first global music campaign. Prior to that, he helped build the Multicultural Marketing practice at Octagon Worldwide, consulting for a U.S. and Latin America-based client roster.
Originally from Bogota, Colombia, Camilo and his family reside in New York City. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he attended as a Morehead-Cain Scholar.
