TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Loan
The Columbus Crew have loaned midfielder Hugo Picard to French Ligue 1 side Troyes, the club announced Monday.
The loan lasts through the 2027 MLS Sprint Season, and Troyes hold a purchase option.
Picard joined Columbus last summer as a U22 Initiative signing from Ligue 2 side EA Guingamp. He's since recorded 6g/2a in 33 appearances across all competitions.
The 23-year-old Frenchman previously produced 10g/15a in 104 matches across all competitions for Guingamp.
The move continues an active summer transfer window for the Crew, who have transferred out former Designated Player Diego Rossi and USMNT wingback Max Arfsten. Additions include new DP Brais Méndez, Chilean forward Gonzalo Tapia and former Landon Donovan MLS MVP Josef Martínez.
Columbus are 11th in the Eastern Conference with 20 points (5W-9L-5D record) under interim head coach Laurent Courtois.
