Boosted by Diego Rossi's brace, Columbus eased past Philadelphia to earn Leagues Cup final hosting rights (highest remaining seed). Rossi (6g/0a) is now tied for the tournament's Golden Boot lead, and Cucho Hernández (2g/2a) is in strong form.
Wilfried Nancy's side has lost just two of their last 42 matches at Lower.com Field, a run that included beating LAFC for MLS Cup 2023 honors eight months ago. This is Columbus' second final this season after losing the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup final vs. LIGA MX's CF Pachuca.

After a 4-0 semifinal victory over Colorado, LAFC have scored a Leagues Cup-best 18 goals this year.
Denis Bouanga netted his competition-leading 12th career Leagues Cup goal against Colorado, and is tied for the Golden Boot lead with six tallies. Defensively, LAFC have recorded three shutouts and allowed just one goal during the knockout stages.
Now, Steve Cherundolo's side will look to exorcise their demons vs. Columbus and hoist the Leagues Cup trophy.
