D.C. United’s preseason kept on rolling Tuesday with their second match of 2016, playing top-flight Swedish side Jonkopings Sodra IF to a 2-2 draw at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
Fabian Espindola opened the scoring with an early penalty kick for a 1-0 halftime lead and the first D.C. goal of the year.
Miguel Aguilar tacked on the second just after the hour mark in what proved to be the equalizer after Sodra scored two early in the second half.
United kicked off their preseason schedule with a 1-0 loss last week to another Swedish team, IF Elfsborg. They return to action Friday against Norwegian side SK Brann.
