What's your favorite kind of donut?
Nguyen-ing...Again
It's down to four in the MLS Cup Playoffs, presented by AT&T. Well, almost. Three are locked in and, as of taping on Monday, Seattle and Dallas were set to battle it out for the final stop. Because of that, the guys start the show with a fake recap of the match, and wouldn't you know it Simon goes against the grain.
After that little excercise, the guys turn their focus to the LA Galaxy's beatdown of Real Salt Lake. Tony Beltran says Landon Donovan "battered" him in recording just the third hat-trick in playoff history. New England battered Columbus on the scoresheet, too, although one of the ETR crew says they pretty much played perfectly. Meanwhile, in DC, Red Bulls fans didn't exist because nobody saw them on TV. They're still alive, though.
Stick around for USMNT and more Lee Nguyen talk as well as Dispersal Draft chatter in the second segment. In the mailbag, donuts are debated and the guys assure everyone out there that it's nothing but love in the studio.
