Julian Hall strikes again! USMNT sensation scores in Red Bulls return

26MLS- Hall-1

Days after his US men’s national team coming-out party, Julian Hall is keeping the goals coming for Red Bull New York.

The 18-year-old striker opened the scoring in Saturday’s 4-1 home rout of San Diego FC, poking home an empty-netter off a low cross from Jorge Ruvalcaba.

Ruvalcaba added a goal of his own, as did Devin Padelford and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

But it was Hall who set the tone early at Sports Illustrated Stadium, building on a breakout USMNT debut during the extended September/October international window.

Rising star

Hall's team-leading 11th goal of the season came days after he enjoyed a dream start to life on the senior national team stage.

RBNY's rising homegrown became the third player in history to score in his first three USMNT appearances, finding the back of the net in wins against Peru, Chile and Mexico.

He also featured in a 1-0 victory over Canada that capped a perfect window for the United States.

Fellow Red Bulls homegrown and USMNT debutant Adri Mehmeti, 17, had a triumphant club return as well, getting an assist on Ruvalcaba's 27th-minute goal.

March towards playoffs

With their USMNT-capped homegrowns thriving, the Red Bulls appear to be hitting form at the perfect time.

Winners of three of their last four matches, New York moved into eighth place in the Eastern Conference as they jockey for Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs positioning.

Their postseason push continues on Wednesday with a visit to I-95 rivals D.C. United at Audi Field (7:30 pm ET | Apple TV).
