Need to know
If Nashville clinch the Supporters’ Shield on Saturday, they will become the first club to do so with four games left in the regular season.
Nashville are on pace to set an MLS single-season points record. They have 2.28 points per game (66 overall) and are challenging the record set by Inter Miami CF in 2024 (74 points; 2.18 ppg).
The Supporters' Shield would be Nashville's second-ever trophy. Last year, they won the 2025Â US Open Cup during their first full season under head coach B.J. Callaghan.
Aside from silverware, the Supporters' Shield winner earns home-field advantage throughout the Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs and secures a berth in the 2027Â Concacaf Champions Cup.
This weekend, Nashville can also secure the Eastern Conference's No. 1 seed. They were the first team to book an Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs spot.
