And just like that, the MLS offseason is over.
Preseason is set to begin on Friday, when eleven teams will begin gathering or training ahead of the 2016 campaign. All four MLS teams who qualified for next month’s CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals – D.C. United, LA Galaxy, Real Salt Lake and Seattle Sounders – will open their camps on Friday. MLS Cup runner-up Columbus Crew SC will also report on Friday, while the defending champion Portland Timbers begin preseason on Saturday.
