The New England Revolution have unveiled their Community Kit ahead of the 2021 MLS campaign, with the new secondary kit set to be in place for the next two seasons.
The Community Kit is inspired by the blockwork of American Revolution Era war forts and pays homage to The Fort, the club’s dedicated supporters’ sections at Gillette Stadium. There’s a fort-inspired blocked white shirt with a monochromatic Revolution logo, white shorts and sky blue socks.
The colors of the split branding represent the colors of the water and the sky that surround the war-era forts throughout New England. The flag of New England remains on the back neck, while a custom jock tag pays tribute to the Fort’s 141, 142, and 143 seating sections. UnitedHealthcare returns for its 11th season as the club’s kit sponsor.
The Fort has been home to Midnight Riders and the Rebellion since New England entered MLS in the inaugural 1996 season. Nowadays, they sit in sections 141, 142, and 143 in Gillette Stadium, creating a special atmosphere behind the goal.
