This season in MLS, four outfield players took not even a minute off. Two of them play for the same team.
In 2018, Sporting Kansas City duo Graham Zusi and Ilie Sanchez, Philadelphia's Auston Trusty and D.C.'s Steven Birnbaum were ever-present, playing every single one of the 3,060 minutes available. All four players helped lead their teams to the Audi 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs.
Zusi, 32, is the oldest of the quartet, with Birnbaum and Sanchez, each 27, in their prime and Trusty, 20, at the beginning of his career.
In addition to those four, another three players started all 34 games and surpassed the 3,000-minute mark but didn't get to 3,060. Seattle's Cristian Roldan fell seven minutes short, being substituted after 83 minutes earlier this month in a win against Houston. San Jose's Nick Lima and Montreal's Samuel Piette also played 3,000 or more minutes.
Three goalkeepers played every minute in 2018.
