Orlando City SC play the second game of their preseason when they host USL Cup champion — and fellow proud purple wearers — Louisville City FC on Wednesday afternoon at their home ground.

A dramatically remade squad following a 2018 campaign that spiraled out of control began the preseason with a respectable 1-1 draw against the defending Supporters' Shield winners New York Red Bulls.
New signing Sebastian Mendez drew a penalty and converted from the spot in that one, before Orlando conceded a second-half equalizer.
After playing the USL's best side in 2018, the Lions are scheduled to exclusively face fellow MLS opposition for the remainder of their preseason.
Louisville City FC
After defeating New York Red Bulls II and MLS expansion aspirants Phoenix Rising FC en route to last year's USL Cup, Louisville are opening their 2019 preseason as arguably the standard bearers for the second division of the United States and Canada.
MLS fans may recognize longtime MLS veteran defender Shaun Francis, most recently of the Montreal Impact, among LCFC's ranks.
