After perhaps the best individual season in MLS history, it's no surprise that Sebastian Giovinco is drawing interest from some of the best clubs around the globe.
On Thursday at the John Molson Sports Business Conference, Toronto FC President Bill Manning stated that Toronto said no to a request from FC Barcelona.
Although it was not a formal request – Manning later called it "innocuous" – it does appear that there was at least some interest from the world giants.
Giovinco stated in his end of season press conference that he is not interested in any loan moves away from Toronto this offseason.
