Cristian Roldan has some seriously solid timing.
As the midfielder was praising Sounders teammate Jordan Morris during a sideline interview in the second half of Seattle’s 3-0 friendly win against West Ham on Tuesday, Morris went and scored his second goal of the match.
Morris’ finish was well-taken, but Roldan’s nonplussed reaction to the goal may have been even more impressive:
Roldan, Morris and the rest of the Sounders will return to MLS action on Saturday, when they’ll host the LA Galaxy at CenturyLink Field (3 pm ET; ESPN in the US, MLS LIVE in Canada).
