Other standout performers included Vancouver Whitecaps FCÂ midfielder Sebastian Berhalter, who Pochettino hailed following his 76-minute shift.Â
Additionally, Charlotte center back Tim Ream wore the captain's armband and Chicago Fire FC homegrown goalkeeper Chris Brady earned his first senior cap after subbing on for the New England Revolution's Matt Turner at halftime.

Saturday's friendly will also serve as a final pre-World Cup dress rehearsal for Germany.
The four-time World Cup champions dispatched Finland, 4-0, on Sunday at Mewa Arena in Mainz. VfB Stuttgart striker Deniz Undav scored a brace, while additional goals from Liverpool's Florian Wirtz and Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala padded the lopsided result.

Germany are drawn into Group E alongside Curaçao, Ivory Coast and Ecuador.
