Sebastian Giovinco is ridiculous.
Since joining Toronto FC prior to the 2015 season, there has been little stopping the Atomic Ant. His combined total of 38 goals and assists last season were four more than any other player has collected in a single season. He has shown no signs of slowing down either.
After an eight-game stretch in which he did not score, Giovinco has been on a tear over the last four games, scoring seven goals and assisting on three others. His 15 goals this season currently lead the Golden Boot race and his 10 assists are tied for the second most behind Sacha Kljestan.
With less than two seasons under his belt, it's clear that Giovinco has been one of the most productive players in MLS history. In fact, he is by far the most productive player in MLS history.
He has averaged 1.21 goals and assists per 90 minutes in his MLS career, far outpacing anybody else. Robbie Keane and Hristo Stoichkov sit at 1.08 goals and assists per 90 minutes, meaning Giovinco has been almost 11 percent more productive than any other player.
