Retired following the 2018 season.
Dean is a left-footed center back who featured for the Whitecaps in MLS play in both 2014 and 2015, but was plagued by injuries in 2016 and 2017. He'll have an opportunity to jumpstart his career in Chicago after being brought in to the side in August of 2017.
INTERNATIONAL: Dean has featured for the US U-23 national team team, scoring a goal against Mexico's U-23 side in April 2015. He previously trained with the US U-20 team.
OUTSIDE MLS: Dean played 10 games in 2015 for WFC2 in USL play, scoring one goal.
COLLEGE: He played three seasons for Cal, starting 55 games during his collegiate career. Dean earned All-Pac12 and NSCAA Far West Region first team honors his junior season, while also helping lead the Bears to an Elite Eight finish in the NCAA Division I Soccer tournament in 2013.
