Established himself as a one of the league's top goalkeepers despite spending his first seven years in MLS with a struggling Chivas USA squad. An excellent shot-stopper, Kennedy honed his skills playing in Chile and Puerto Rico before returning to MLS. Since leaving Chivas USA in 2014, he was a part-time starter for FC Dallas in 2015 before moving to become the Galaxy's starter in 2016. Ranks 16th all-time in MLS with 481 saves heading into the 2016 season.

OUTSIDE MLS: Though selected by Chivas USA in the 2005 MLS SuperDraft, Kennedy started his professional career with the Puerto Rico Islanders, then in the United Soccer Leagues (USL). He was named USL Rookie of the Year in 2005 and played one more season with the Islanders before signing with Chile's Municipal Iquique, where he player for two more seasons before returning to MLS.

COLLEGE: Started 84 games for UC-Santa Barbara. Led the Gauchos to three postseason appearances (2002-2004) and to the 2004 NCAA final.
