Cano becomes the 21st Homegrown player signed by the club and the center back will look to make his mark as a professional in 2018.

COLLEGE: The 6-foot-1, 170-pound center back started 75 games for SMU over the last four seasons and was named the American Athletic Conference’s Defender of the Year in 2017 after leading the Mustang back line to a 15-2-1 record en route to a conference title and the second NCAA tournament appearance during his tenure.
