PROFESSIONAL

• Contract: Exercised a permanent transfer on goalkeeper Maarten Paes on June 28, 2022. Paes joins FC Dallas through Dec. 2025 with club options for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
• Selected to compete in his first MLS All-Star Game and Skills Challenge in 2024.
• Recorded a MLS career-high nine saves vs. LAFC on June 1, 2024.
• Made his debut for FC Dallas on Feb. 26, 2022 vs. Toronto FC.
• Joined FC Dallas after four seasons with FC Utrecht appearing in 48 matches for the first team and 18 matches for the U21 side.
• Made his Eredivisie debut in a 2-0 shutout win against PEC Zwolle on Aug. 19, 2018.
• Started his soccer career at VV Union before rising through the ranks of NEC Nijmegen’s academy between 2012-16 serving as the backup goalkeeper for NEC’s first team on April 28, 2018.

NATIONAL TEAM

• Officially became an Indonesian citizen after taking the oath at the Regional Office (Kanwil) of the DKI Jakarta Ministry of Law and Human Rights in East Jakarta (Jaktim) on April 30.
• Eligible for Indonesian citizenship through his grandmother's heritage.
• Member of the Netherlands U19 National team that participated in the 2016 UEFA European and 2017 UEFA European Under-19 Championship but did not make any appearances.
• Called up for Indonesia’s men's national team FIFA World Cup Asian qualifier matches versus Saudi Arabia (Sept. 5, 2024), Australia (Sept. 10, 2024), Bahrain (Oct. 10, 2024) and China (Oct. 15, 2024).

PERSONAL

• Loves dogs, especially labradoodles and his family owns one.
• His girlfriend Luna Bijl is a Dutch fashion model.
